PERFECT DAY IN GENEVA

Normally on Wednesdays, I write about a specific topic about life in Geneva. But today it´s my birthday! Yeah, it´s on 03/03, what a magic number. Well, I thought also 2020 was a magic number…

However, today, I am full of positive energy, I want to imagine what my perfect birthday would look like if there were no restrictions.

I would definitely go to the lake, sit on the "Baby plage", watch the boats and listen to waves. I love this sandy beach which is in the centre of Geneva! I feel like being by the sea!

For lunch, I would go to eat the delicious Swiss fondue in some of the restaurants in the Old Town with my family and friends and I would choose a gift for myself on the most famous shopping street – Rue du Rhône. Well, if the budget allows

Celebrating a birthday is not possible without a birthday cake! We are in Switzerland, so I would love to have a big cake made of Swiss chocolate!

To get some rest, I would go to park Mon Repos (which literally means "rest") and from there I would watch my favourite Jet d´eau!

To finish this amazing day, I would go to an Italian pizzeria. There are so many Italians living here in Geneva, so in almost every pizzeria you can hear the Italian language and you eat the real Italian pizza!

I have to say, I love living in Geneva. If you would like to live in Geneva, do not hesitate, to come and start your new experience! You will love this city as I do!
